PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device which, when nobody is in a car, can accurately determining the absence of a person.SOLUTION: An elevator device includes a weighing device 17 and a person presence/absence determining device 21. The weighing device 17 detects a load loaded in a car 1. The person presence/absence determining device 21 determines that nobody is in the car 1 if a value detected by the weighing device 17 is less than a first reference value. When a value detected by the weighing device 17 is the first reference value or more, the person presence/absence determining device 21 determines that somebody is in the car 1 if a change in the value detected by the weighing device 17 is a reference range or more, and determines that nobody is in the car 1 if the change is less than the reference range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
