PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-proof device having a new structure in which a main rubber resilient body is attached to the second attaching member under no contacted state and rigidly and provide a process of manufacture of the same.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a vibration-proof device 10 having a structure in which the first fixing member 12 and the second fixing member 18 are resiliently connected to each other through a main body rubber resilient body 14, an extending end part 32 of the main rubber resilient body 14 extending from the first fixing member 12 is inserted into a cup metal fitting 44 constituting the second fixing member 18, the extending end part 32 of the main rubber resilient body 14 is overlapped on the inner surface of the cup metal fitting 44, the cup metal fitting 44 is provided with an engaging part 54 protruded at the inner peripheral side. The engaging part 54 is engaged with the main rubber resilient body 14 in an axial direction and the cup metal fitting 44 is fitted to the extending end part 32 of the main rubber resilient body 14. The cup metal fitting 44 is fitted to a cylindrical part 58 of a bracket metal fitting 56 to constitute the second fixing member 18 and at the same time, the main rubber resilient body 14 is fixed to the second fixing member 18 under no adhesion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
