PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horticultural support rod: for which, when a fence is built or a support rod is stuck up for support of plants in a flower bed or a vegetable garden, a work operation that uses implements are not needed even in a case of hard ground surfaces; with which, in a case of fence building, teaming work of support rods and lateral bars can be performed stably and work operations thereof are easy; and, in addition, transportation and storage of which is easy.SOLUTION: A protrusion of a circular cross-sectional shape is provided in one end of a support rod body 1 of a pipe shape, the protrusion being thinner than the bore diameter of the support rod 1. In the base of the protrusion part, a male screw A for connecting support rods is formed. Also, there is provided a semiring-shape protrusion B in its outer periphery, and, in its tip, a protrusion C is formed. A ground surface insertion part 2 is provided being configured in that way. A fastener hole 3 is formed at regular intervals in the center of the support rod 1 in the lengthwise direction. Meanwhile, in the backward of the support rod body 1, there is provided a female screw as an insertion hole 4 for connecting support rods. A rain prevention cover 5 is attached to the insertion hole 4. Thus, a connectable horticultural support rod is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
