PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, by which the degree of dispersion of a lithium phosphate in a positive electrode mixture layer can be made appropriate; a positive electrode mixture paste with appropriate lithium phosphate dispersibility; a positive electrode which has an appropriate degree of dispersion of a lithium phosphate in a positive electrode mixture layer; and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery including such a positive electrode.SOLUTION: In a step for preparing a positive electrode mixture paste (step S1), the positive electrode mixture paste 10 is prepared by mixing an acidic compound 15 in addition to a positive electrode active material 11, a conductive material 12, a binder 13, a lithium phosphate 14 and a solvent 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
