PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect and a disconnect a battery unit 2 of a battery assembly 1 and a balance circuit.SOLUTION: A plurality of battery units 2 are connected in parallel. In the battery unit, a plurality of chargeable/dischargeable unit cells 7 are connected in series. A terminal 12 of each of the battery units 2 to be connected to a collector 8 of the unit cells 7 positioned in the same potential order is taken out of a hard case 17. Elastic means 25 is provided for abutting and holding the terminal 12 with a conductive plate 20 that is positioned outside of the hard case 17, thereby eliminating the need of work for fixing the terminal 12 to the conductive plate 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
