PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous travelling type electronic device that is provided with a floor face detection sensor capable of being adjusted in short time, and to provide a sensitivity adjustment method of the floor face detection sensor.SOLUTION: An autonomous travelling type electronic device comprises: a wheel 29L that travels in contact with a floor face; a floor face detection sensor 19L that detects a height to the floor face to output a detection signal in accordance with a level of height; a travel control unit that controls the travel so as to avoid a step when determining that the step is present based on the detection signal; and an adjustment control unit that adjusts sensitivity of the floor face detection sensor. The adjustment control unit is configured to reset travelling sensitivity designed so as to exceed a predetermined threshold at all times even when a deviation is present in the detection signal from the floor face detection sensor dealing with a travelling height predetermined as a height to the floor face to be travelled, and avoidance sensitivity designed so as to be equal to or below the threshold at all times even when a deviation is present in the detection signal from the floor face sensor dealing with an avoidance height determined to be higher than the travelling height as a height to the floor face to be avoided as the step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7A |
