PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print head that can correct variation in amounts of light outputted by the print head more accurately in comparison with a conventional technique.SOLUTION: In a print head 1, a light emitting portion 1a has a plurality of light emitting elements 51-n, light emissions of which are controlled independently from each other. An optical portion 1b has a lens member 11 that condenses light ray from each light emitting element 51-n and fixes a position of the light emitting portion 1a relative to the lens member 11. An temperature sensor 52 detects a temperature of the light emitting portion 1a. A first correction amount generating circuit 59 corrects, on the basis of the detected temperature of the light emitting portion 1a, corrects light emission amounts of the light emitting element 51-n so that the amounts are constant to a change in the temperature of the light emitting portion 1a. Temperature sensors 15 and 16 detect temperatures of the optical portion 1b. Second correction amount generating circuits 54 correct, on the basis of the detected temperatures of the optical portion 1b, correct effective amounts of light of the plurality of light emitting elements 51-n so that the amounts approximate effective amounts of light in a reference temperature, with respect to a change in the temperature of the optical portion 1b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
