ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

An organic light emitting display device according to an embodiment of the present invention can increase the lifespan thereof by reducing the brightness thereof through repeating the steps of displaying a left-eye image, stopping the displaying, displaying a right-eye image and stopping the displaying. The organic light emitting display comprises: pixels each including an organic light emitting diode having an anode electrode and a cathode electrode, and a pixel driving circuit for outputting driving current to the organic light emitting diode; scan lines and data lines electrically connected to the pixels; and a first voltage supply line and a second voltage supply line electrically connected to the pixels. The pixel driving circuit includes a driving transistor for controlling the level of each driving current. The cathode electrode is electrically connected to the first voltage supply line. The organic light emitting diode does not emit light during a first period in which voltage having a first level is applied to the first voltage supply line. The organic light emitting diode emits light during a second period in which voltage having a second level is applied to the first voltage supply line. The level of voltage stored in the pixel driving circuit during at least part of the first period affects the level of voltage applied to a gate electrode of the driving transistor. Scan signals are applied to at least some of the scan lines during at least part of the second period.
