PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement of a monitoring camera device which enables the interior of the device to be effectively shielded, is robust, and achieves high durability.SOLUTION: A monitoring camera device 100 has: a camera head 106; an enclosure 202 covering the interior of the monitoring camera device and having openings 204, 206; and a shield 208 which is arranged being movable relative to the enclosure to shield parts of the openings. The shield comprises a first shield portion and a second shield portion which are disposed so as to be movable relative to each other.
