PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase difference film that can express high contrast and phase difference, composition, manufacturing method of a phase difference film, polarizing plate, and liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: There is provided a phase difference film formed of a composition including a polymer compound, rod-like liquid crystal compound, and photoreactive compound, where the polymer compound has a side chain having one or more azo groups and/or cinnamate groups and three or more and 10 or less arylene groups; the side chain further has an amino group that many be substituted or a hydrocarbon group at the terminal; the absolute value of the difference between the SP value of the polymer compound and the SP value of the photoreactive compound is 1.1 or less; the in-plane retardation at a wavelength of 550 nm is 10 nm or more and 200 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
