PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a simple screw type motion conversion unit that can be easily assembled into a quite compacted environment such as accessories for an automobile or a facility of a drive unit and the like.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a motion conversion unit applied to a drive mechanism that comprises a screw 1 having a thread part 11, engaged during a translation motion and driven during its rotation; and a nut 2 having a first thread part 21 and a second thread part 22 engaged with the thread part 11 of the screw and connected to a motion receiving mechanism R during a translation motion 23. A cylindrical part 3 coaxially encloses the nut 2. The nut has a thread part 31 engaged with the screw 1 at the time of rotation and translation and engaged with the second thread part 22 of the nut. The screw 1 transmits a motion having rotation and translation combined to each other to the nut 2 controlled by the second thread part 22 against the thread part 31 of the cylindrical part 3 and the translation component along an axis XX is transmitted to the motion receiving mechanism R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
