PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a poppet valve which can largely increase a passage flow rate.SOLUTION: An EGR valve 60 moves a valve body 68 provided at a valve shaft 66 from a valve seat 70C by the operation of the valve shaft 66, and opens and closes an EGR passage P. The valve shaft 66 is arranged while inclining to the valve body 68, and the EGR flow passage P is opened and closed by the spiral operation of the valve shaft 66 toward an inclining direction (opening/closing direction).
