PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin composition having flame retardancy corresponding to a glow-wire ignition temperature of 825°C or more, and good toughness (tensile breaking elongation) and moldability, and to provide a molded body thereof and a method for producing the polyamide resin composition.SOLUTION: The polyamide resin composition comprises a total of 100 pts.mass of (A) 60 to 75 pts.mass of a polyamide resin and (B) 25 to 40 pts.mass of a melamine cyanurate-based flame retardant and, relative to a total of 100 pts.mass of the (A) component and the (B) component, (C) 1.1 to 3.5 pts.mass of at least one polyalkylene polyhydric alcohol. An average dispersion particle diameter of the (B) component is 1 to 10 μm with a standard deviation of 8 or less. A mass ratio of the (B) component and the (C) component, [C]/[B], is more than 0.045 and less than 0.09.SELECTED DRAWING: None
