PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cut-off member that is fully weatherable, hard to deteriorate by age, and suited for preventing water leakage from a gap in an expansion joint of a concrete structure having a member extending horizontally and then bending perpendicularly, such as a wall balustrade at a tip of a bridge beam and a ground cover, along with a water cut-off structure using the water cut-off member.SOLUTION: A water cut-off member is for sealing a gap between concrete structures having a perpendicular part and a variable interval therebetween, and includes: a thin cut-off member body having flexible parts 3, 3a that expand/contract by being distorted and deformed in a width direction and a flat fixing part disposed continuously on both edges of the flexible parts; a rubber packing disposed underneath the fixing part; and a metal pressing plate 6 disposed above the fixing part. The flexible part of the water cut-off member body includes a folding line 7 that fits the perpendicular part of the concrete structure, and the flexible part 3 on one side of the folding line and the flexible part 3a on the other side swell out in opposite directions toward front and rear sides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
