PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and a control method of an internal combustion engine including two fuel injection valves on an intake port of each cylinder, capable of lowering an engine rotating speed for restarting fuel injection from a fuel cut state as low as possible.SOLUTION: When fuel injection is restarted while lowering an engine rotating speed from a deceleration fuel cut state, a fuel is injected from a first fuel injection valve 11, and fuel injection by a second fuel injection valve 12 is stopped. Thus a minimum fuel injection amount to each cylinder can be suppressed to be small while injecting the fuel more than a minimum injection amount to keep a fuel measurement accuracy in the fuel injection valve 11, and the fuel injection can be restarted after lowering the rotation in comparison with that in the injection by two injection valves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
