PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tornado protection net capable of efficiently absorbing energy of flying object with a small installation area.SOLUTION: The tornado protection net includes: a protection net main part; a border rope 2 attached to the protection net main part; a fixing end buffer mechanism 5 which is attached to the border rope 2 to give a tensile force to the protection net main part to expand; a direction conversion member 7 which is attached to the border rope 2 between the protection net main part and the fixing end member to change the direction of the border rope 2 from a first direction A1 extending from the protection net main part to a second direction A2 crossing the first direction A1. The buffer mechanism 5 is arranged to give a tensile force to the border rope 2 while allowing the protection net main part to deflect and the border rope 2 to move in the second direction A2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
