PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail that mitigates hard and cold touch, slippery property and glossiness of a metal, and offers a stable grip for use.SOLUTION: A handrail consists of an extruded aluminum pipe (A) having a positioning guide protrusive streak (11) protruding inward by a certain height (h1) from a circumferential surface of the pipe, the protrusive streak extending in a longer-side direction. A plurality of dimples (13) is scattered on the extruded aluminum pipe (A) in the longer-side direction, at a required interval (p), the dimple being depressed by a certain depth (G) from a corresponding position on the circumferential surface facing the positioning guide protrusive streak (11) at a 180-degree angle. The entire circumferential surface of the extruded aluminum pipe (A), including the dimples (13), is coated by a slip-resisting coating (14) of a certain thickness, to create a satin-finished rough surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
