PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carboxylic acid anhydride group-containing cyclic siloxane compound that suppresses excessive viscosity increase when used to form an epoxy resin composition, has excellent curability with little volatilization when cured, and gives a cured product excellent in transparency and hardness.SOLUTION: The cyclic siloxane compound (A) is represented by formula (1).
