PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel with a shock absorption structure capable of solving such a problem that an air bag system for increasing safety of a steering wheel is expensive and an air bag expands even when a vehicle is lightly brought into collision.SOLUTION: A steering wheel with a shock absorption structure includes: a steering wheel of which one side is provided with a deflection column and the other side is provided with an upper space, with the upper space being extended along a depth direction, a storage space being provided along the depth direction and the storage space being provided with a socket along the depth direction; a shock absorption structure of which one edge is a force receiving part and the other edge is a regulation part, with a direction in which the force receiving part and the regulation part are connected with each other being set as an axial direction, a plurality of shock absorbing elements being provided between the force receiving part and the regulation part, a circular-arc shape step being provided between both edges of each shock absorption element and the shock absorption elements circularly arrayed assuming a cage shape; and a cover which is stored in the upper space of the steering wheel and comes into contact with the force receiving part of the shock absorbing structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
