摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust between catalyst warmup and suppression of deterioration of a battery.SOLUTION: If a catalyst temperature is less than a given value when starting an engine for the second time and thereafter after a system start of a vehicle, a request for catalyst warmup is output for warming up a catalyst of a purification device. Further, for such a request for the second time and thereafter, an extension of an output limit Wout of a battery that is executed for the initial request for catalyst warmup is not carried out (S210, S220). This enables suppression of an output of excessive power from the battery in catalyst warmup corresponding to the request for catalyst warmup for the second time and thereafter after a system start, making it possible to suppress deterioration of the battery. The catalyst warmup is fundamentally carried out for a request for catalyst warmup for the second time and thereafter, and consequently it is possible to suppress deterioration in emission. As a combined result, it is possible to harmonize (balance) between suppression of deterioration of the battery and that of deterioration in emission.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
