PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for linear motor capable of suppressing generation of thrust unevenness by effectively reducing a harmonic component of a detent force in simple configuration.SOLUTION: The stator for linear motor comprises a plurality of magnetic pole teeth 2 which are held side by side in length directions by a pair of long parts 10 and 10 which are opposite to each other, of a hold member 1. The plurality of magnetic pole teeth 2 are shaped so as to be long orthogonally with a direction of arrangement and change a width in the direction of arrangement from one side to another side in the length direction. The magnetic pole teeth 2 having such a shape are provided in parallel in such a manner that a narrow side and a wider side are alternately positioned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
