PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a stable switchback in an image forming apparatus separately provided with a discharge roller and a switchback roller.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (compound machine 1) comprises: a main body housing 2 having a first sheet ejection tray 21 and a second sheet ejection tray 22; a discharge roller 82 for discharging a recording sheet that has passed an image forming part to the first sheet ejection tray 21; and a switchback roller 92 that conveys a recording sheet toward a second sheet ejection tray 22 when rotating in the positive direction, and conveys a recording sheet that has been conveyed toward the second sheet ejection tray 22 to a re-conveyance guide part (re-conveyance mechanism 120) when rotating in the reverse direction. The main body housing 2 has a pair of walls (side frames 2S) that extend in the conveyance direction of a recording sheet conveyed toward the second sheet ejection tray 22 by the switchback roller 92, protrude from a placing surface 22F for a recording sheet of the second sheet ejection tray 22, and are disposed so as to sandwich the second sheet ejection tray 22 therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
