PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can achieve both convenience for a user and power saving in the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes: an image forming part 22 that forms images on sheets; and a central control part 71 that switches an operation state of the image forming part 22 between a first power state where the image forming part 22 normally operates and a second power state where the image forming part 22 operates with a power consumption smaller than that in the first power state, where the central control part 71 changes a switching time to switch from the first power state to the second power state depending on the type of a user's operation to the image forming apparatus 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
