METHOD FOR SEPARATELY COLLECTING PERMANENT MAGNET IN MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for crushing and separately collecting a motor that uses a permanent magnet, for recycling the motor while significantly reducing energy consumption and without generating a harmful gas or a combustible gas.SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: taking the motor out of a machine or apparatuses (S2); disposing the taken-out motor in a water tank with an explosive disposed in contact with or in the vicinity of the motor, then exploring the explosive remotely from the outside and destroying the motor by impulsive waves generated by the explosion of the explosive and a stirring action in the water tank (S8); collecting from the water tank a massive aggregate that is formed by attracting small pieces of the permanent magnet generated by the destruction of the motor in water with magnetic forces and cancelling the magnetic forces each other, and a destruction object of a motor constituent portion other than the permanent magnet (S9); heating the collected massive aggregate and destruction object as high as or higher than the Curie-point and demagnetizing the permanent magnet (S11); and collecting the demagnetized permanent magnet (S12).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
