The present invention provides a composition for preventing or treating andropause-related symptoms, comprising, as an active ingredient, a complex extract of Ceratonia siliqua and Cudrania tricuspidata. The composition of the present invention relieves the reduction of testosterone, which is the cause of the andropause-related symptoms, improves motor ability, and suppresses the activity of 5-α reductase to have effects of preventing and treating benign prostatic hyperplasia, thereby being effective in treating various andropause-related symptoms. The present invention also provides a composition for improving male generative functions comprising, as the active ingredient, the complex extract of Ceratonia siliqua and Cudrania tricuspidata. The composition of the present invention increases the concentration of sperms in semen, increases sperm motility, and increases the secretion of testosterone, thereby having outstanding improvement effects on the male generative functions. The complex extract of the Ceratonia siliqua and Cudrania tricuspidata shows remarkably increased treatment effects on the andropause-related symptoms and improvement effects on the male generative functions compared to a single extract of the the Ceratonia siliqua or Cudrania tricuspidata. |
