PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that has manufactured with a method causing less damage to a drive circuit part arranged in a peripheral area.SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid crystal display device including a rectangular liquid crystal display panel, where the liquid crystal display panel includes an L-shaped peripheral area 210, a display area 200 including a liquid crystal encapsulating area 70, a liquid crystal injection port 74 for injecting liquid crystal to the liquid crystal encapsulating area 70, and a dam 62 for reducing or preventing wraparound of liquid crystal to the peripheral area 210.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
