PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein G mutant which is useful in mouse clonal antibody purification and has improved resistance ability to alkali.SOLUTION: Provided is a protein G mutant in which at least one G of its amino acid sequence comprising 2 NG sequences that is included in an immunoglobulin-binding domain of protein G represented by a specific sequence, is replaced with another amino acid. In the protein G mutant, which has antibody-binding ability and improved resistance ability to alkali solution, 8th G of the amino acid sequence represented by a specific sequence is replaced with another amino acid other than C, D, E and Y and 37th G is replaced with another amino acid other than C, F, I, P, Q, R and Y.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
