PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform fine control of air pressure in the case of performing training while reproducing a highland environment in a sport or mountaineering and make it possible to closely link air pressure with an exercise load.SOLUTION: A high pressure/low pressure room comprises: a chamber that forms a living space; compression means that is disposed outside the chamber and is for increasing air pressure in the chamber; decompression means that is disposed inside the chamber and is for decreasing the air pressure in the chamber; an exercise load device that is disposed inside the chamber and is for applying, using mechanical action, an exercise load to an exercising person; and control means for performing control so as to link the exercise load device's action with variation in the air pressure in the chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
