PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a metal molding having a porous structure in a surface layer part, which can prevent deformation from being caused by heat during continuous wave laser beam irradiation.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a metal molding having a porous structure in a surface layer part includes a step of continuously applying a laser beam to a surface of the metal molding 10 at an irradiation speed of 2,000 mm/sec or more by using a continuous wave laser. In the step, cooling is performed by bringing a molding 20 with a thermal conductivity of 100 W/m k or more into contact with a laser beam-nonirradiated surface of the metal molding 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
