PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool which can increase a processing speed without lowering a process tolerance and can shorten a processing time.SOLUTION: A machine tool is equipped with: a processing member which has a tip, and which can process an object to be processed in such a manner that the tip is so made as to face the object; a bearing member for bearing the processing member; a servo motor which moves the tip via the bearing member; a storage part for storing dynamic characteristic data which indicates a dynamic characteristic from the servo motor to the tip which is determined by modeling and system identification; and a control part which outputs a control signal to the servo motor on the basis of the dynamic characteristic so that a deviation between a quantity of state of the servo motor including a position and a speed of the servo motor in a rotation direction and a target value, and a deviation between a quantity of state of the tip including a position and a speed of the tip and a target value become small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
