PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and the like, the electronic apparatus operating switching between a normal mode and a power saving mode according to a communication state, and capable of easily and appropriately returning from the power saving mode to the normal mode.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus that communicates using TCP comprises: a network control unit including a first communication unit for communicating in a first operation mode; and a main control unit including a second communication unit for communicating in a second operation mode. When the electronic apparatus shifts from the first operation mode to the second operation mode, the first communication unit notifies the second communication unit of a reception port number of TCP, and the main control unit has the electronic apparatus in the second operation mode shift to the first operation mode when the second communication unit receives a TCP packet with a transmission destination port number according with the reported reception port number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
