PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which enables the achievement of superior battery characteristics.SOLUTION: A secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and (1) a first polymer compound layer disposed between the positive and negative electrodes adjacently to the positive electrode, (2) a second polymer compound layer disposed between the positive and negative electrodes adjacently to the negative electrode, or (3) a combination of the first and second polymer compound layers. At least one of the first and second polymer compound layers includes: a polymer compound including fluorine (F) as a constituent element; and a conductive material dispersed in the polymer compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
