PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet image forming apparatus which can improve image quality.SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 100 comprises: a recording part 10 for forming an ink image on a recording sheet (recording medium) that is being conveyed; a dielectric heating device 12a (selective heating means) which is disposed at a downstream side (+X side) from the recording part 10 in the direction of the conveyance of the recording sheet and is used for selectively heating the ink image formed on the recording sheet; a uniform heating device 12b (heating means) which is disposed at a downstream side (+X side) from the dielectric heating device 12a in the direction of the conveyance and is used for heating the recording sheet on which the ink image has been selectively heated; and a processing device 20 which controls the recording part 10, the dielectric heating device 12a and the uniform heating device 12b. The processing device 20 sets the output (drying output) of the dielectric heating device 12a by taking into consideration a cockling that can occur in the recording sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
