PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a filter calculation executable without using many bands of a memory bus.SOLUTION: A memory controller 13 reads image data from a DRAM 2 to a line buffer 12 by one line of a block at a time by performing burst transfer of a specific amount of data a prescribed number of times. A transfer circuit 15 transfers image data of a rear end part in each line of the line buffer 12 to a boundary buffer 14. The rear end part is the number of pixels which is smaller only by one than the number of pixels in a main scanning direction of at least a filter size, and a filter arithmetic circuit 11 uses image data of a rear end part of a first block stored in the boundary buffer 14 and image data of a second block stored in the line buffer 12 to continuously perform a filter calculation to the rear end part of the first block and the second block in the case that the second block is adjacent to the first block in the main scanning direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
