PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue an appropriate traffic lane deviation alarm in response to a travel traffic lane width.SOLUTION: An alarm apparatus comprises: a traffic-lane acquisition unit 11 acquiring a traffic lane that defines a travel traffic lane of a vehicle; a traffic-lane-deviation determination unit 24 computing a traffic lane deviation amount of the vehicle 1 on the basis of the traffic lane acquired by the traffic-lane acquisition unit 11, and determining that the vehicle is in a traffic lane deviation state when the traffic lane deviation amount exceeds a preset reference deviation amount; alarm units 30 and 31 each issuing an alarm when the traffic-lane-deviation determination unit 24 determines that the vehicle is in the traffic lane deviation state; and a prohibition unit 20 computing a travel traffic lane width on the basis of the traffic lane acquired by the traffic-lane acquisition unit 11, and prohibiting the alarm units 30 and 31 from issuing alarms when the travel traffic lane width is not larger than a vehicle width.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
