PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle front structure that is able to absorb collision energy by the time when a polygonal closed cross-sectional shape of an energy absorbing member is completely crashed.SOLUTION: A vehicle front structure comprises: a front bumper cross member 4 constituting a front bumper; an energy absorbing member 5 fixed to the front face of the front bumper cross member 4 and having a polygonal closed cross-sectional shape that is crashed by pressure in the event of front collision of a vehicle; a female member 43 provided on the front face part of the front bumper cross member 4, helically engaged with a bolt 53 passed through the energy absorbing member 5, and fixing the energy absorbing member 5 to the front bumper cross member 4; a projecting part 51a2 formed so as to project exceeding the height of a head 53a of the bolt 53 on the front bumper cross member 4 side from a mounting surface on the front bumper cross member 4 side of the energy absorbing member 5, thereby accommodating the head part 53a of the bolt 53; and a recessed part 41a1 formed on the front side of the front bumper cross member 4 and accommodating the projecting part 51a2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
