PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical alignment agent, optical alignment film, liquid crystal display device, and manufacturing method of the same for minimizing a deterioration in afterimage and optimizing film strength.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a first substrate, a thin-film transistor located on the first substrate, a first electrode connected with the thin-film transistor, and a first alignment film located on the first electrode; the first alignment film includes a copolymer of at least one of cyclobutanedianhydride (CBDA) and cyclobutanedianhydride (CBDA) derivative and diamine, and a crosslinking agent including an alkylene group (-CH-, where n is a natural number), and the copolymer includes polyimide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
