PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control step-up of an output voltage of a DC power source and regeneration of power to a side of the DC power source as commanded.SOLUTION: A Z-source inverter device 100 comprises: a DC power source 1; a Z-source step-up circuit 2 including a regeneration switch 3 capable of regeneration to the DC power source 1, a first reactor 4, a second reactor 5, a first capacitor 6 and a second capacitor 7; an inverter circuit 8 which is connected at an output side of the Z-source step-up circuit 2; and a control part 20 which generates a first carrier for switching control of the inverter circuit 8 and a second carrier for switching control of the regeneration switch 3 different from the first carrier and performs control in such a manner that a period to simultaneously turn on upper and lower arms within the same leg of the inverter circuit 8 is not overlapped with a turning-on period of the regeneration switch 3, by deviating phases of the first carrier and the second carrier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
