PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power receiving device and a power transmitting device for suppressing influences upon input/output characteristics caused by insertion of a filter circuit while having sufficient harmonic wave suppression effects and an impedance matching function.SOLUTION: A resonant frequency of a circuit comprised of a coil 152 and a capacitor 154 is set to a frequency of AC power to be received by a power receiving coil. An inductance of a coil 156 is set (1+α) times (α is any positive number) as large as an inductance of the coil 152. An inductance of a coil 160 is set α times as large as the inductance of the coil 152. A capacitance of a capacitor 158 is set 1/α times as large as a capacitance of the capacitor 154.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
