PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape feeder capable of enhancing the success rate of peeling a cover tape from a carrier tape, at the tip of a component feeding tape.SOLUTION: A tape feeder peels a cover tape T2 by means of a scraper 11 arranged in the way of a tape conveyance path, while moving a component feeding tape T, having a carrier tape T1 holding a component and the cover tape T2 covering the upper surface of the carrier tape T1, along the tape conveyance path. The tape conveyance path on the upstream side of the scraper 11 is defined by a lower surface guide member 14 having a lower guide surface 14a for guiding the lower surface of the component feeding tape on both sides in the width direction, and an upper guide member having an upper guide surface 12a for guiding the upper surface of the component feeding tape on both sides in the width direction. The lower guide surface 14a and upper guide surface 12a have a shape for bending at least one side of the component feeding tape in the width direction downward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
