PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank capable of ensuring the prevention of the collapse and washout of a tank caused by Tsunami and eventually Tsunami fires by preventing a tank floating phenomenon resulting from ground scouring.SOLUTION: A tank 1 comprises a tank main body 2 storing a liquid; and a bottom slab 6 supporting the tank main body, the bottom slab is provided with a base 14 fixed to a ground 12 and a penetration part 16 extending from a peripheral edge 14b of the base and buried in the ground, the penetration part is provided with a cut-off wall 18 that prevents the penetration of a wave 2 into a bottom surface 14c side of the base that may occur by ground scouring, and a seepage path wall 20 which is disposed to be continuous with the cut-off wall and on which a seepage path 26 of seepage water 24 directed to the bottom surface of the base is formed along a surface 28 by a hydraulic head Hw that is a distance from the bottom surface of the base to a crest of the wave, and the seepage path wall has a surface length L that prevents the arrival of the seepage water at the bottom surface side of the base by the hydraulic head.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
