PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visualized kneading device in which a window is provided in a cylinder part performing a kneading operation by a screw inserted therein, the material of the window is hardly damaged, and favorable internal observation is obtained even if a kneaded material accumulates, and also to provided a kneading observation method.SOLUTION: There is provided a kneading device with an observation window which kneads a material to be kneaded in a cylinder by a screw inserted in the cylinder and allows the inside of the cylinder to be viewed through a transparent window material fitted in a notch formed at a part of the cylinder. The surface of the screw inserted in the cylinder has a black color, and the face of the window material at a screw side is positioned outside by 0.5 to 2.0 mm from the face corresponding to the inner face of the notched cylinder.
