PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize a traffic lane deviation alarm in response to an approach velocity of a vehicle to a traffic lane line.SOLUTION: An alarm apparatus comprises: a traffic-lane acquisition unit (CCD camera) 11 acquiring traffic lane lines defining a travel traffic lane of a vehicle; a traffic-lane-deviation determination unit 24 computing a deviation amount by which the vehicle runs beyond one traffic lane line on the basis of the traffic lane lines acquired by the traffic-lane acquisition unit 11, and determining that the vehicle is in a traffic lane deviation state when the deviation amount exceeds a preset, predetermined reference deviation amount; an approach velocity computing unit 22 computing an approach velocity of the vehicle to the traffic lane line on the basis of the traffic lane lines acquired by the traffic-lane acquisition unit 11; a deviation-amount-threshold correction unit 23 correcting the reference deviation amount in response to the approach velocity computed by the approach-velocity computing unit 22; and alarm units 30 and 31 (a loudspeaker and a display) each issuing an alarm when the traffic-lane-deviation determination unit 24 determines that the vehicle is in the traffic lane deviation state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
