PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element drive device capable of preventing an average value of an output current from being varied by varying an anode voltage of a light-emitting element.SOLUTION: The light-emitting element drive device comprises: a reset signal generation part for generating a reset signal RESET in accordance with a current flowing in a light-emitting element Z1; a set signal generation part for generating a set signal SET in accordance with an anode voltage Vom of the light-emitting element Z1; and an output voltage supply part which generates an output voltage Vo from an input voltage Vi in response to the reset signal RESET and the set signal SET and supplies the output voltage V to the light-emitting element Z1. The set signal generation part includes: a current generation part (a voltage dividing circuit 5 and a voltage/current conversion circuit 6) for generating a current corresponding to the anode voltage Vom of the light-emitting element Z1; a charging part 7 which charges the current generated by the current generation part; and a comparator COM2 for generating the set signal SET in accordance with a result of comparing a charging voltage of the charging part 7 to a reference voltage V.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
