PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact dimming control unit, an illumination system and equipment that can reduce a switching loss.SOLUTION: A light source unit 3 has light emission diodes 311 to 317, and a constant current circuit 32 for controlling current flowing in the light emission diodes 311 to 317 to be constant. A DC power supply unit 1 outputs a DC voltage which is directly applied to the light source unit 3 and has a voltage value with which the light emission diodes 311 to 317 can be turned on. A dimming control unit 2 has MOSFET 21 which is electrically connected between the DC power supply unit 1 and the light source unit 3, and a control circuit 24 for controlling ON/OFF of MOSFET 21. The control circuit 24 switches the MOSFET 21 at the duty ratio corresponding to a set dimming level, whereby a DC voltage input from the DC power supply unit 1 is converted to a rectangular voltage and output to the light source unit 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
