PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which allows a high energy density to be stably ensured over a long period of time in a battery in which LTO is used as a negative electrode active material.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode includes: a negative electrode current collector; and a negative electrode active material layer formed on the current collector. The negative electrode active material layer has: a first region where on the surface of the negative electrode current collector and having a lithium titanium complex oxide as a matrix; and a second region including the surface of the active material layer, and having a lithium titanium complex oxide as a matrix and SiO.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
