PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus capable of converting DC power to AC power without using an electrolytic capacitor.SOLUTION: A power conversion apparatus 100 includes: a DC source 110; an electrolytic capacitor-less DC-DC converter 120 that converts a DC voltage from the DC source into a desired voltage; a current generation circuit 130; a conversion circuit 140 that converts a DC power to an AC power; and an output unit 150 that outputs converted AC power. The current generation circuit 130 generates a sine-wave current in a manner such that a power of a half cycle of AC current outputted by the output unit 150 matches a power of a half cycle of the power source 110, and supplies the sine-wave current to the conversion circuit 140.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
