PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure capable of sufficiently securing seal performance between a pressure vessel and a pipe material which is a test object, in an external pressure load test.SOLUTION: A seal structure comprises a pressure vessel 3 in which a pressurized liquid 14 is filled, and a pipe material 2 whose both end parts project from respective through-holes 3b of both end walls 3a of the vessel 3, respectively, and in the structure, spaces between the through holes 3b of the vessel 3 and an outer peripheral face 2b of the pipe material 2 are sealed. In an order from the pressurized liquid 14 side, a first packing ring 21, a second packing ring 22, a first auxiliary ring 23, a second auxiliary ring 24, and an annular lid 27 are provided. An end face 23b of the first auxiliary ring 23 on the second auxiliary ring 24 side is formed into a taper face whose diameter is reduced toward a tip end side. An end face 24a of the second auxiliary ring 24 on the first auxiliary ring 23 side is formed into a taper face whose diameter is enlarged toward the tip end side. The second packing ring 22 is softer than the auxiliary rings 23, 24, and can be elastically deformed or plastically deformed.
