PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant supply unit which can be stably operated for a long period of time, and a bearing device.SOLUTION: A lubricant supply unit comprises: a holding part (lubricant tank 30) which holds a lubricant supplied into a bearing 11; a supply part (drive circuit 28 and pump 29) which supplies the lubricant into the bearing 11 from the holding part; a control part (control circuit 27) which controls an operation of the holding part, acquires data related to a supply status of the lubricant, and is arranged so as to be capable of outputting the data; a receiving part (output base board 56) which receives the data outputted from the control part; a light emitting element 54 connected to the control part; and a light receiving element 55 connected to the receiving part. The light emitting element 54 and the light receiving element 55 are arranged so that the light receiving element 55 can receive light which is radiated by the light emitting element 54.
