PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, in a rotation imbalance measuring device for measuring the position of rotation imbalance on a circle and its magnitude in a rotating body, the rotating body from unnecessarily rotate during measuring operation and thereby enhance the accuracy of imbalance measurement.SOLUTION: A rotation imbalance measuring device has a measuring unit comprising a center shaft erected in the vertical direction, a swinging arm so fitted as to be swingable relative to the center shaft, a rotation drive power source arranged at or near one end of the swinging arm, a rotating body holding shaft arranged rotatably at or near the other end of the swinging arm, at the swinging end of the swinging arm, and a torque transmitting unit for transmitting the running torque of the rotation drive power source to the rotating body holding shaft. The device also has an arm swing measuring unit consisting of a gap sensor for measuring the swinging period and amplitude of the swinging arm and a rotating position measuring unit consisting of a rotary encoder for measuring the rotating position of the rotating body held by the rotating body holding shaft, and further has an initial arm position regulating unit consisting of elastic elements for regulating the initial position of the swinging arm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
